Teamwork Divides the Task and Multiplies Successes

The IAPD has grown with an increase of over  25% in its membership during the last year and without our National Societies’ support this would not have been possible. We come with great gratitude towards our societies for supporting us and to encourage new enrolments.

Meeting with good  friends: IAPD and FDI

IAPD enjoys a very good long term partnership with FDI. During the FDI annual meetings, IAPD participates in the scientific program with “IAPD Symposium”. In the IAPD Congress, FDI activities receive extensive exposure through our international pediatric dentistry network. In early November, IAPD President Dr. Anna Maria Vierrou and Secretary General Dr. Ari Kupietzky met with FDI Executive Director Enzo Bondioni at FDI World Dental Federation Headquarters in Geneva. The friendly meeting concluded with consensus to explore wider opportunities of collaboration including World Oral Health Day, Global Program, Global Report, Congress Guidelines and other issues.

Congratulations to our 2017 Award Winners

There has been a tough competition during the 2017 Congress, for the Bursaries and Awards that IAPD offers to its members. Excellent papers were submitted and in two cases the Award was shared by two winners. We congratulate all candidates for their work and we look forward to more submissions in our next Congress.
