Christopher V. Hughes (USA)

Professor and Chair, Pediatric Dentistry, Community Oral Health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's School of Dentistry

Dr. Hughes is a graduate of Colby College and The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.  He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital at Case Western Reserve University.  He was a Clinical Staff Fellow and an NRSA Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 1985-1990 and received a PhD from Georgetown University in 1991.  Since that time he has been a practicing clinician, research scientist and teacher.  He serves on the Editorial Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  He was a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, Professor and Chair of Pediatric Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

In January of 2018, he left New Jersey.
